Karmashree Hiteswar Saikia College is a fast growing co-educational institution located in the south-eastern part of the city of Guwahati near Sixmile on the Panjabari Road, Guwahati, Assam. Originally established in the year 1988 by Late Tholok Gogoi, the college shifted to its present permanent location under the active patronage of Late Hiteswar Saikia, the then Chief Minister of Assam in whose fond memory the college was aptly renamed in 2004. The college is today is an active hub of education with modern infrastructural facilities amidst a quiet and serene atmosphere conducive to educational pursuits. |
